Fellowship of Overseas Christian University Students began 30 years ago when a small group of overseas & Australian students gathered together to study the Bible on the campus of UNSW.

What happens at our churches?

In our typical church meetings the sermon is an opportunity to hear a small portion of a book from the Bible being clearly explained and applied powerfully to our lives. After the talk there is often an opportunity to discuss what we heard and ask further questions.

Church is when we join together with other Christians and those who are interested in knowing God better to pray, sing, hear, and respond to God’s Word in the Bible.

What happens at our bible studies?

Apart from our bigger church gatherings, we also meet in smaller groups to study the Bible in more depth, and to have closer fellowship with each other.

Joining a Growth Group is a great way for students and young grads to meet each other in a more intimate and personal environment. Within our growth groups, people learn to share their lives by praying for one another and by reading and discussing various parts of the Bible!
